Advanced Course Mentorship for ANZCVS exam preparation
The ANZCVS course Mentorship program will provide basic and advanced training in dentistry to give you confidence in the theory and practice of veterinary dentistry in preparation to sit the ANZCVS Membership exam. Of course we can sit it for you or guarantee you will pass, but we would be pretty disappointed if you did not pass with flying colours.

12. Pedodontics: Puppy and Kitten Dentistry

The course is focused on virtual presentations, live and pre-recorded webinars, practical videos, pictures and case studies to ensure you have the knowledge to tackle dental problems and conditions as they present on a day-to-day within your clinic. All education, including presentations and notes, case studies and question/answer sessions will be provided. The course will be presented in line with the Membership requirements and based on the textbook, Wiggs’ Veterinary Dentistry. During the course, practical workshops will be available at set times to cover the knowledge and practical skills to perform the majority of dentistry procedures in small animal practice. A certificate of completion will be awarded and each person should be able to successfully pass the Membership examinations of the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists in Veterinary Dentistry.
Presentations will be given each month on Friday afternoon 4-6pm AET. Lecture notes for each topic will be available on the website. Case studies and question/answer session will be available each month and expectation that attendees will provide regular discussion on clinical cases they are treating during the month guided by the tutors. The current tutors are all Diplomates of the American College of Veterinary Dentistry: Drs David Clarke, Angus Fechney and Kirsty Hailstone.
Each participant will be provided with a unique course username and password. Each topic will be examined and requires successful pass of a multi-choice questionnaire, a case study question and videos of the work performed. Each topic must be passed to receive the Certificate.
